It has shops along it, on both sides, just like the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.

Cool. I guess that wouldn't make it seem less like a bridge as you are walking across it.

:shaking head: I have not been to Florence.

I haven't actually walked across a bride, and if I did, I don't remember. I hated walking down piers as a child. I'm still not that happy about doing it now.

You should go to Florence, it's such a wonderful old city. It's been a lot of years since I was there, but I'd love to go back.

Florence wasn't on my very, very short list of places I wanted to go, but that isn't to say if I was given a good chance to go there I wouldn't.
